Enter the lobby and you’re greeted with a contemporary, artsy atmosphere. A circular registration desk stands front and center. 
Complimentary fresh brewed coffee awaits weary travelers. There’s a food and beverage area they call re:fuel by Aloft(SM), that’s open 24/7 featuring fresh food and snacks such as salads, sandwiches, and a myriad of sweet treats.
Glance to the other side of the lobby where you’ll see neon illuminating the wide selection of spirits in the WXYZ lounge, the re:mix(SM) lounge complete with a pool table. If you are in search of a more substantial meal there’s Michael’s Steak & Seafood, Alabama’s exclusive restaurant for serving the top rated Certified Hereford Beef.
If the contemporary look and feel aren’t enough to get your attention, step into the elevator and glance at the floor. It moves. Really. Dance around bit and notice the color changing beneath the tiles. The appearance of blue liquid changing to white is just one of the small touches that set the Aloft Birmingham apart.
We’re always excited to find something new and different; something that stands. Small details such as the playful floor, the bright colorful lighting, the over-stuffed comforter on the bed and the fresh smell of the Bliss products provided set the tone for a memorable lodging experience.
There isn’t an abundance of staff (and surprisingly it doesn’t affect quality of service) but those present are eager to make your stay a pleasant one. They provided us with a wealth of information, not just about the immediate area but specific dining options, as well. Sushi, steak, seafood, Italian and subs, just to name a few choices and all are within walking distance of the Aloft Birmingham.
When added to their other amenities: free & fast Wi-Fi, PPV options, a great workout area and an indoor pool to unwind in at the end of the day, the appeal of the Aloft Birmingham is undeniable among business travelers.
