We had the pleasure of touring the Atlanta Botanical Garden,  and we marveled not only at the plants but so many other things they had to offer.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is the premier botanical garden of Georgia, ranked as one of the top ten botanical gardens in the United States.  In the city’s cultural epicenter, Midtown Atlanta, The Atlanta Botanical Garden sits on 30 beautiful acres and has something for everyone from  gardening enthusiasts, horticulturists to the community at large.

The Garden’s mission is to develop and maintain plant collections for research, conservation, education, display and enjoyment. There is an award-winning Children’s Garden, the world-class Dorothy Chapman Fuqua Conservatory, Center for Conservation and Education, and state-of-the-art Fuqua Orchid Center.

A hybrid of Asian styles, the Japanese Garden is designed on a small-scale and offers many ideas for urban gardeners
