A common complaint from travelers, tour guides, students, teachers or anyone who walks or stands a lot is aching feet. Feet are overworked, often neglected and underappreciated.

I live on campus at Roger Williams University, so I am always walking, whether it be from class to class, to the dining hall, or to the library. Not to mention, I intern in the city several times a week, where I walk a good half mile from my parking space to the office. Let’s just say I never have trouble meeting my daily step count, but I do have difficulty calming my flat and aching feet afterward.

I had the opportunity to try out a couple of pairs of Oka-B shoes, and they are now my favorite thing in my closet. I will preface this article by telling you that I have painfully flat feet, so I have always struggled to find shoes that both comfortable and fashionable. For this reason, I do not dole out my approval of shoes easily nor often.

That said, my Oka-B shoes have been a lifesaver this semester. Oka-B sells flats, wedges, flip flops, and sandals so that you can find a pair for any occasion. Oka-B shoes are slip resistant, have excellent arch support for us flat-footed folks, and come equipped with massaging beads that make even my longest walks around campus more bearable. Think of it as a spa day for the sole.

As a frequent traveler, I can sightsee for hours with ease, sans the dogs barking or bunions burning. Comfort can be cute, and Oka-B makes sure of that.
